Turner Teeney more commonly known simply as “TFUE” to his millions of fans is a 20-year-old professional gamer from Florida. Our Steel Series Arctis Headphones Review
We were initially quite surprised to see Turner using this particular Steel Series headset, not because it is a bad choice or anything like that but just because there are far more expensive options out there for him to choose from. For example, Ninja has gone with a more expensive headphone from Beyer Dynamic. This is good news for the casual gaming fan who wants to own a headset their favorite online personality uses every day. This headset isn’t the best choice for listening to music, but instead, most of the benefits come from how comfortable it is. The cushions will allow you to game for hours on end with a limited amount of pain and that is why it is quite popular with Twitch Streamers in particular. The second reason this is popular with Twitch Streamers and Gamers is because of the impressive microphone that slides in and out. The frequency response rate is 100Hz–6500Hz and this makes your voice really stand out clearly.
If you were looking for reasons to buy this headset, I would say that the comfort and value for money would be the two main reasons to pick it up. I am impressed with both. The sound is good as well, but I wouldn’t exclusively recommend using this for listening to music all day. There are better options out there, and that is my honest opinion.
